Bookshop for more than just bookworms

Livraria Da Vila is a chain of bookshops in Sao Paolo designed by the local architect Isay Weinfeld. The breathtaking design is out of this world beautiful, and far to beautiful for a bookshop. I can imagine just getting lost in there, it would be nice to see public libraries put the same effort into making their environment one people want to stay and read and hang out in. Comfortable seating areas, dramatic stairs and secret-lab style doors which closed look like nothing more than another bookshelf. Ahh... book worm and design fanatic harmony ^_^
