In his series 'Totems', French photographer
Alain Delorme recreates these stacked loads, from his 6000 images taken during two art residencies in Shanghai. The loads are exaggerated to emphasize the 'totems' which are symbolic of the 'Made in China' consumer culture. The saturated candy-colour add to the surrealism of his work.
