Lego kitchen counter
Parisian fashion duo Simon Pillard (who works with fashion house JC de Castelbajac) and Philippe Rosetti (works with Hugo Boss France identity) have taken the the game to another level. The pair bought a standard kitchen island from IKEA then used 20,000 Lego blocks and a week of their time to cover it. The result - an eye catching one-of-a-kind centerpiece for the space. The whole space seems to enjoy a splash of primary colours, contrasting old pieces (like a roman bust) with modern shapes and colours straight out of a Piet Mondrian painting.
