Peter Pink's Potatoes
Artist Peter Pink—a self-described “nonsense maker”—has created a humorous set of food installation.
Simply called ‘Potatoes’, he dresses potatoes in matching pink sunglasses and arranges them in various scenarios.
For example, some of the spuds can be seen tanning under pink umbrellas; while others, protesting against a group of cucumbers.
Explaining his project, Pink said, “My inspiration a lot of the times comes from the need to clown, comment, or question things I don’t agree with. Things where everyone around me is like ‘Yeah’, and I’m like ‘Really?’. I like asking questions and I see life as something to be curious about, not something I need answers for.”
