London label Lazy Oaf are bringing your favourite Warner Brothers characters back out of hiding (in the deep recesses of your childhood subconscious) and into your wardrobe. Collaborating with the cartoon lords behind Looney Tunes, the brand have just announced that they're launching a capsule collection featuring Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and the unhinged menace to society known as the Tazmanian Devil. Lazy Oaf designer Gemma Shiels clearly has a soft spot for the TV (sometimes film) characters. She's blown them up big, collaged, printed and embroidered their maniacal expressions all over sweatshirts, legwear, dresses and a bomber jackets.
Giving the Looney Tunes creatures a particularly sportswear reappropriation, the label's collection sees the "That's All Folks" tagline writ large across an American baseball jersey, and fashioned on some varsity jacket patches, caps, hoodies and barrel bags. We can't believe we forgot how cute Tweety was there, for a second.
