Type Tart Cards

type Tart Cards is a yearly project between St Bride Library and Type, which welcomes contributions from students to industry superstars. Aim: to find the tart hiding in every type and create their own graphic numbers.

Tart Cards are prostitutes advertising cards left mainly in phone booths in London. Step into almost any central London phone box and you can contemplate up to 80 cards inviting you to be tied, teased, spanked or massaged. These are now regarded an item of accidental art, and have a cult following of collectors.

An exhibition of this years contributions will run from 22nd to 29th June at KK Outlet in London.
