Connected, but alone

Great talk by Sherry Turkle about being together physically, but alone in reality with the over-use of social media and gadgets. They allow us to control and clean up our image, editing and deleting everything we do, say, look like! Real relationships are messy, tangible, takes place in real time, allows for mistakes, misunderstandings, demanding. But these are what make us REAL and not machines.
